One of the all-time great designs of the wedge era, the DeLorean DMC-12 was striking when it debuted in 1980 with its shiny brushed stainless steel bodywork. Although the car found success as an object of desire for many, it lacked the powertrain and driving dynamics of many of its peers at the time. Although this example remains a faithful representation of how they left the factory, many have been modified to make more power or as recreations of how the car was portrayed in the “Back to the Future” movie franchise.
